Home Remedies for FAIR & GLOWING SKIN

Who wouldn't like having fair and glowing skin? I think everybody else does! Especially when achieving it comes really cheap, right? :-) So, let me share you some beauty tips that can be seen just straight from your kitchen! Yes, yes! Homemade baby!

MILK POWDER & HONEY:

Milk Powder

Honey

One of the most well-known home remedies for fair and glowing skin is a mixture of milk powder and honey. In fact, home remedies for glowing skin with the use of honey are quite popular. When mixed together, milk powder and honey are extremely effective.

They not only enhance the brightness of the skin, but also help moisturize it. Make a paste of milk powder and honey and apply a thick layer on your face.

This home remedy for glowing skin works best when you continue using it over a period of time. You can also add in a few drops of almond oil to enhance this home remedy.

ADDITION:

Also, if you're allergic to HONEY (just like me, poor thing) you can just use MILK itself:

Preliminary studies by the American Academy of Dermatologists found that the lactic acid commonly found in milk products was effective in smoothing the appearance of the skin.

Mix enough powdered milk with water until you create a paste. Apply to your face with your fingers, and leave it to dry before rinsing with cool water. Use this mask one to two times a week as part of your regimen to keep your skin looking hydrated, smooth and fair.

You might also dip a washcloth in milk and apply the washcloth to your face as a way to smooth your complexion.

DRIED ORANGE PEEL & YOGURT:

Dried Orange Peel

Yogurt

One of the best home remedies for fair skin is a mixture of dried orange peel and yogurt. To make this mixture, take the peel of an orange and dry it in shade. When the peel is dried, tear it to shreds and grind it into a fine powder.

This is one of the most useful glowing skin home remedies for oily skin. You can get a lot of homemade tips for fair skin online, and most of the home remedies for glowing skin can be made by using ingredients from your kitchen.

If you’re wondering how to get glowing skin naturally, a mixture of honey and lime juice, for instance, is a great way to improve the texture of your skin and make your skin appear softer and suppler.

See how easy it can be and how your kitchen can really be helpful, eh? :-) Go ahead, give it a try! :-)

Importance & Differences: Facial Moisturizer + Facial Serum

You guys ever familiar with the difference between a FACIAL MOISTURIZER and a FACIAL SERUM? And how BOTH OF THEM has a very important role when it comes to our daily skincare? I bet some of you don't! :-) Okay, so here goes:

FACIAL MOISTURIZER:

A cosmetic lotion or cream applied to the skin to counter dryness.

Knubbly tweed, snakeskin, cracked leather -- if you think these words describe the condition of your skin more than the composition of a favorite handbag, then you might need to start moisturizing. Even if your skin type tends to be normal to oily, using a high-quality moisturizer on a regular basis can be the key to improving the way your skin looks and feels.

No matter whether your skin type is dry, oily or sensitive, you shouldn't skip the moisturizing step in your skin care routine. Leaving it out might quickly cause redness or flaking, and in time it can allow wrinkles and other aging signs to show up on your skin earlier than they otherwise might. Also, if you have sensitive skin or a skin condition, moisturizing regularly might help ease some of the irritation.

FACIAL SERUM:

An ultra-concentrated formula that penetrates more deeply into the skin and delivers effective active ingredients.

In skin care it refers to an intensive moisturizing product to be applied after cleansing but before a general moisturizer.

Serums can treat skin conditions such as redness, wrinkles, discoloration, dehydration, sagging skin and help prevent acne.

A good serum  provides intensive care to treat problem or fragile areas and it aims to penetrate deep into the three layers of the skin to strengthen the cells as well as deliver active ingredients to your skin.

MOISTURIZER AND SERUM DIFFERENCES:

While facial serums can give you added moisture, the main reason you'd want to use a facial serum is to get added nutrients into deeper layers of your skin that a regular moisturizer is not able to reach. You can get many types of serums such as anti-aging serums, skin brightening serums and even acne preventative serums. You apply the serum after your toner and before your moisturizer.

A moisturizer has larger molecules than a serum. This means that a moisturizer will not penetrate the skin as far as a serum will. While serums deposit nutrients, moisturizers are meant to deposit moisture and hydration your skin.

So, to make things clear to anyone who is reading this right now, a Serum is definitely incomplete without a Moisturizer, and vice versa.

Just because a Serum is something that goes to the deeper layers of your skin, while a Moisturizer will just coat the outer layer. So they definitely and will always need each other. :-)

For my own experience, believe it or not, I discovered the Serum just this year. :-) I actually did some research with regards to this kind of thing, I was really amazed with all of the positive results. And it actually did amazed me since then. Never a day without them both. :-)

Go ahead and try yourself both the products! It's never really too late to be beautiful! <3

Bb Creams - Creamazing!

This blog's for every female specie out there who doesn't even have any idea what a Bb Cream is. <3

Well, let me share my own experience with this kind of thing. Just as much as I remember, it was way back December 2009 since I discovered Bb Cream. Not to mention all the details but since then, I can never imagine my life without this. Haha! No kidding, really, it really helped A LOT when it comes to my skin complexion. Bb stands for BLEMISH BALM, so it really focuses on your, yes, BLEMISHES.

What kind of amazed me with this cream was the thought that it INSTANTLY covers all the redness and evens out your skin without even clogging your pores or making your skin look old like a normal foundation does.

Let me show you some pictures:

Those are the ACTUAL PHOTOS of a person who uses Bb Cream. :-)

Still having doubts?

Let me show you also a brief history about this cream:

Many people asking what exactly is the BB Cream? Why is it suddenly struck the beauty industry like a storm starting from the Korean market and now the whole word is crazy about it? BB Cream or commonly knows as blemish balm has becomes a staple in Korean women's beauty loot, this particular beauty product has and with very good reasons.

Before BB cream, people required a lot of steps in their daily care or makeup before they get a flawless look, but blemish balm or BB cream eliminates the need for those products because of its multiple uses.

BB creams can be used as a moisturizer, concealer, make-up base, sun protection, foundation and even anti-aging skin care. It was previously used by cosmetic surgery patients right after undergoing surgical treatments to soothe the skin and speed up the skin's recovery.

Korean celebrities have used it as an everyday beauty treatment. First of all, it provides rather natural concealing look. It definitely beats using foundation as it is without a heavy and cake-like kind of look and feel to it. In fact, one of the reasons why many women are raving about is the natural, almost-like-skin look.

See? Hmm if you're having doubts still, you can Google it for yourself.. :-)

I made this blog just to help you out, I swear, this is worth the money! <3

ONCE IN A BLUE MOON

Since it was Araw ng Davao, we girls have decided to rock the city (which we didn't, haha) and went on a girls NIGHT OUT! We were all pretty much excited few days before the much awaited event but it turned out to be really lousy and boring! What I also hate was the fact that my make up didn't turned out to be what I wanted it to be! Ahh sucks yeah but amidst all of these, no regrets.. JUST LOVE. Hehehe! :-)

Just Another Manic Monday

Yihee! One thing that gets me so giddy is a planned all girls day out! It's when we girls get together (where boys usually don't understand, haha) for some cup of coffee, unending chit chats, and best of all --- the ever popular PICTURE TAKING! Haha! I'm also happy that I get to wear my new and first ever detachable collar. Yahoo! :-)

Tiring but fun fun FUUUUN! I cannot wait for the next day out! Girls will definitely and absolutely will always BE GIRLS! So you better deal with it, male species! :-)))
